The Association of Children’s Prosthetic-Orthotic Clinics (ACPOC) provides a comprehensive resource of treatment options provided by professionals who serve children, adolescents, and young adults with various musculoskeletal differences.
Vision
The Association of Children’s Prosthetic-Orthotic Clinics (ACPOC) is recognized as the worldwide leader of multidisciplinary rehabilitative care of children, adolescents, and young adults with musculoskeletal differences.
Objectives
ACPOC offers an environment that promotes team collaboration with all medical professionals including, but not limited to, physicians, orthotists, prosthetists, therapists, and nurses.
ACPOC endeavors to provide opportunities to educate its membership through communications, such as newsletters, the website, and social media, annual conferences and other programming.
ACPOC seeks to stimulate clinical research, which will further advance the technology and treatment approaches for children, adolescents, and young adults with various musculoskeletal differences.
ACPOC will provide information to allow children, adolescents, and young adults with various musculoskeletal differences and their families to access specialized clinics and healthcare providers.
